Home for Belonging
Building belonging brick by brick
Together, we’re turning a house into a Home for Belonging.
Thanks to the remarkable generosity of the Hall Family Foundation, Autism Okanagan is getting a permanent, inclusive, sensory-considerate space designed specifically for neurodivergent children, youth, adults, and their families.
Now we need your help to bring it to life.
Your donation will help us renovate, furnish, and launch this community hub. Every contribution adds a brick to the foundation of belonging we’re building together.
Contact us at info@autismokanagan.ca to learn how you can help build our home. More information coming soon!
About our home
Autism Okanagan's Home for Belonging project responds to a critical gap in the Central Okanagan: the absence of a permanent, inclusive, non-clinical community space designed specifically for neurodivergent individuals and their families. At present, Autism Okanagan delivers its programs in a patchwork of rented and borrowed spaces which has limited our program capacity, constrained scheduling, and prevented participants from developing a consistent sense of place. The Home for Belonging will enable Autism Okanagan to become a true community anchor by expanding the reach and depth of our impact. With the Home for Belonging we expect we will be able to double the number of people we serve.
