Telus

We held our first LEGO Club in the fall of 2019, thanks to a generous grant from Telus. Our LEGO Club is focused around building social skills, connecting with peers, and of course, a love of all things LEGO!

Younger participants have the opportunity to work in groups to build Lego sets and to learn to work in teams to complete the sets together. This model proves to be very successful, as we see participants working together and learning to communicate in order to achieve their building goals.

The second part of our Lego program is focused on Lego robotics, where kids are able to build and code their own Lego robots, which is a whole lot of fun for everyone!
