Dr. Temple Grandin is the most accomplished, well-known person with autism in the world. She is a Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University.
Different Kinds of Minds Contribute to Society
Through ground-breaking research and the lens of her own autism, Professor Grandin provides insight and understanding about different types of thinkers, their skills and how they can complement each other.
Grandin will draw from her experience working on construction projects in the cattle industry to make the case that the world needs as many visual thinkers who excel at the arts as it does pattern thinkers who excel at mathematics.
On January 17, Grandin’s rational and irrational way of processing the world will help you see the benefits of how different kinds of minds benefit society as a whole.
